Suspend and Resume of Batch Jobs

You can temporarily suspend batch jobs that are currently running, and likewise, you can resume batch jobs that have been suspended. Suspending a batch job makes the running batch job enter the Waiting state, where it waits for a Resume command. This function can be useful when a running batch job monopolizes system resources and affects the execution of other higher-priority jobs, or when it needs to be temporarily suspended while the user prepares the target data.
